Xunta contracts with Eulen, where his sister was a senior executive: allegations of favouritism never established in court

No legal proceedings

During Feijóo's governments in Galicia, Eulen, a group where his sister Micaela Núñez Feijóo held senior positions, secured a substantial volume of contracts and services from the Xunta. The opposition repeatedly called for an investigation or audit, citing possible preferential treatment, while certain cases raised suspicions of early access to information.

Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital: Consello de Contas finds public-private model chosen by Feijóo government more expensive

No legal proceedings

Feijóo's Galician government abandoned public financing for Vigo's new hospital in favour of a public-private concession. In 2024, the Consello de Contas concluded that the chosen solution had not been preceded by a sufficiently comprehensive feasibility study and that publicly funded construction with separate service contracts would have cost less; the present-value difference was estimated at approximately 166 million euros over twenty years.

23-J campaign: series of inaccurate claims, notably on pension indexation and the Pegasus case

No legal proceedings

During the 2023 general election campaign, Feijóo repeatedly made factually disputed claims. Notably, he asserted that the PP had always increased pensions in line with the CPI before acknowledging an "inaccuracy". In the televised debate, he also attributed the closure of the Pegasus case to a lack of cooperation by the Spanish government, whereas the decision primarily cited Israel's lack of judicial cooperation.

Personal relationship with Marcial Dorado, later convicted of drug trafficking, revealed through photographs and intercepted calls

No legal proceedings

Photographs revealed that Alberto Núñez Feijóo travelled and spent holidays in the 1990s with Marcial Dorado, who was subsequently convicted of cocaine trafficking and money laundering. Police wiretaps also showed that their contacts continued into the early 2000s, later than Feijóo had initially suggested.

Xunta contracts with companies linked to Marcial Dorado

No legal proceedings

Following revelations of personal ties between Feijóo and Marcial Dorado, public procurement data showed that the Xunta had awarded nearly 294,000 euros in contracts to Dorado-linked companies over approximately twenty years. Some contracts predated Feijóo's presidency, and the health services he headed when the photographs were taken had not contracted with those companies during that period.

Election promises concerning Pemex vessels: Xunta statements more definitive than available contractual commitments

No legal proceedings

Weeks before the 2012 Galician elections, Feijóo presented several Pemex ship orders for Galician shipyards as guaranteed. Subsequent documents and statements showed that certain transactions remained subject to conditions precedent, tender procedures or future approvals, fuelling accusations that commercial prospects had been presented as electoral certainties.
