Associations' complaint alleging homophobia following performance of « Zoo »

Following a Kaaris concert at the Accor Arena in February 2024, associations Mousse and Stop Homophobie filed a complaint over lyrics from the song « Zoo », which they considered to constitute insult and incitement to hatred or violence against homosexual people.

Public suspicions after shooting at Booba video shoot, case closed without established link

Investigation

Following a shooting in August 2019 at the filming of a Booba music video in Aulnay-sous-Bois, Booba had publicly suggested that Kaaris or his associates might have been involved. The case was closed without further action in 2021, with no link established between the attack and their rivalry.

Orly brawl with Booba: eighteen-month suspended prison sentence

Conviction (not final)

Kaaris participated in the brawl between his entourage and Booba's at Orly airport on 1 August 2018. He was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment, suspended, and a €50 000 fine. Having initially appealed, he withdrew the appeal in February 2019.
