Litige O2 Micro : victoire de MPS et condamnation adverse aux frais

Dans un litige de brevets avec O2 Micro sur des circuits de contrôle d’éclairage LCD/LED, MPS obtient une issue favorable. Le tribunal qualifie ensuite le dossier d’exceptionnel et accorde environ 9,1 millions de dollars de frais et coûts à MPS; la Cour d’appel fédérale confirme l’issue en 2013.

Litige Micrel : brevets et secrets commerciaux, puis règlement de 3 M$

Civil / administrative proceedings

Micrel poursuit MPS et certains dirigeants pour contrefaçon alléguée, détournement de secrets commerciaux et autres griefs. Le tribunal rejette en 2005 les demandes de détournement de secrets commerciaux sans autorisation de modification. En 2006, les parties règlent le litige : Micrel accorde des licences sur deux brevets et MPS accepte de payer 3 millions de dollars.
