2022: final IOPC report — limited evidence for allegations that he knew true scale or misled Parliament

No legal proceedings

The IOPC published its final report on Wright's testimony. It did not substantiate several central claims made by the complainants: evidence was limited that he had received reports revealing the true scale of child sexual exploitation or acquired comprehensive knowledge from other exchanges. No personal criminal prosecution was identified as resulting from the case.
