Case dismissed / dropped

The Bettencourts' former accountant alleged that in 2007 Patrice de Maistre had requested €150 000 in cash intended for Éric Woerth, treasurer of Nicolas Sarkozy's presidential campaign. Investigators identified suspicious financial movements, and the court considered in 2015 that there was a strong suspicion that money had been handed over.
