Wildfires and climate: unsupported theories involving "15-minute cities", globalists and arson

No legal proceedings

In 2023, Fleury circulated the theory that the Kelowna wildfires were part of a "globalists" plan linked to 15-minute cities; AFP concluded there was no indication of coordinated arson for that purpose. Specialist reports in 2024-2025 also documented his claims that fires were being deliberately set to advance a "climate communism" agenda.

Freedom Convoy: massively exaggerated figures and call for a "revolution"

No legal proceedings

On Fox News, Fleury claimed that approximately 50 000 truckers and 1,4 million people were heading to Ottawa and portrayed the movement as a major revolution that would continue until Justin Trudeau resigned or freedoms were restored. Subsequent fact-checks showed that the figure of 50 000 trucks was vastly inaccurate.
