Carrefour in Israel: boycott calls, settlement-related allegations and repeated denials by Bompard

No legal proceedings

After Carrefour entered Israel through a franchisee in 2022, pro-Palestinian, trade union and human rights organisations called for a boycott. In 2025, Bompard stated that no Carrefour store was located in occupied territory. An NGO report published in May 2026 disputed this claim, identifying two franchisee-operated Carrefour stores in Israeli settlements.
