Regional grants to fictitious associations used for clientelist purposes

Conviction

As vice-president of the PACA regional council responsible for urban policy, Sylvie Andrieux supported grants totalling approximately €700 000 to €740 000 to associations in Marseille's northern districts, several of which were fictitious or had no real activity. The courts found that these funds had been distributed for electoral and clientelist purposes.
